Catalog Service
Quarterly Archive Cleanup & Wallet Catalog Refresh
A full-day visit to purge expired slips, reconcile wallet counts, and deliver an updated bound catalog with index tabs.
Who this visit is for
Households and small offices that maintain multiple offline wallets—hardware devices, sealed paper backups, leather document wallets, or numbered safe-deposit envelopes—and need a current written catalog without handling each item themselves every month.
What you receive
A bound catalog with numbered index tabs, a reconciliation sheet comparing this quarter’s count to the previous visit, and a stamped receipt page noting items removed from active storage during cleanup.
Scope included
- Physical count of all wallets in declared storage locations
- Removal of expired receipts, voided slips, and duplicate index cards
- Standardized adhesive labels applied to wallet exteriors where missing
- Cross-check of serial numbers against your existing recovery documentation
- Written summary of discrepancies found and actions taken
Scope excluded
- Opening sealed tamper-evident bags without your written authorization
- Legal interpretation of ownership documents
- Long-term off-site storage rental
- Repair of damaged wallets or hardware devices
Provider
Visits are led by a senior archivist from Content Birch Hub, accompanied when needed by an intake assistant for holdings exceeding twenty wallets.
Process
- Pre-visit questionnaire — You complete a brief form listing storage locations and any wallets added since the last catalog.
- Arrival and intake — The archivist photographs the workspace layout (with your permission) and confirms the declared wallet count.
- Archive cleanup — Expired materials are separated into a review pile; you approve disposal before shredding.
- Catalog refresh — Each retained wallet receives an updated index entry with date, location code, and condition note.
- Delivery — The bound catalog and reconciliation sheet are handed over; courier clients receive return shipping within 48 hours.
Timeline
Book at least ten business days ahead. The visit itself requires one full working day. Courier round-trips add three to five business days.
Preparation
Gather all wallets into accessible storage. Have your previous catalog available if this is a repeat visit. Inform us of any wallets added or removed since the last refresh.
